He started his career with The General Electric Company (Now Known as Alstom India ) and then worked with Larsen & Toubro Ltd before diversifying into the financial services sector at the Cusp of liberalization in 1991 as the Head Eastern Operations with SRF Finance Ltd (a premier NBFC in the ‘90s prior to it’s take over by GE Capital in 1995). He then moved on to set up and head a joint venture NBFC between Sumitomo Corporation and the Usha Martin Group as the President and Managing Director.
His last employment was with ICRA Online Ltd as the Executive Director, in-charge of their Analytics / Investment Research and Advisory division responsible for Mutual Fund Research and Ranking.
Since 2012 he has been into consulting and Training for domestic and International Organizations on business strategy, setting up systems and processes for credit risk management /competitive positioning and increasing operational efficiencies and governance, blending his experience across multiple functions.
